Wet Cast Stone

‘Prestige Stone’ wet cast architectural masonry is an extremely durable, high strength material available in a wide range of colours and finishes. As bold or subtle as the imagination dictates, from sparkling white limestone aggregates to natural buffs and warm reds, which are designed to complement or contrast dependant on their proposed usage and location.

All wet cast components can be manufactured in smooth acid etched or exposed aggregate finishes with structural units available up to 8.00 tonnes in weight.

The use of wet cast components, especially by housing developers, generally significantly reduces the amount of handling and site damage due to the increased strength and durability the wet cast process offers over semi- dry cast products. Once in place, wet cast components prove to be less susceptible to damage from following trades, thereby retaining their desired appearance and effect for longer periods.

Rigid daily quality control procedures and careful monitoring of all mix designs ensure all Prestige Cast Stone wet cast products exceed the requirements of BS1217:1997 and BS8110.

Whether supply only or supply and fix, all units are individually coded for ease of identification on site. A master schedule of components together with working drawings will, in most cases, provide a location and position for each item. This service eliminates valuable time spent searching through pallets ensuring handling is kept to an absolute minimum.
